A note from Stuart Zadel

25 September 2008

Dear Friend,

What an event filled few weeks it's been!

Sadly, we saw the passing of one of the world's great people, Mr. Paul Newman, who is the feature of this week's very special success tip. Be sure to check it out below.

Making A Difference

Paul Newman

We've also just had the famous Bathurst 1000 V8 Supercar race run at Mount Panorama racing circuit which is about 3 blocks from where I live. Funny thing is whilst I enjoy motor racing, can you guess my favourite part of the race...?

The military jet that flies over before hand.

And of course, the news has been inundated with doom and gloom around world financial markets. So thanks to one of our loyal readers who sent this in, I thought you'd enjoy a little laugh...

I've just read that uncertainty has now hit the Japanese banking sector:

In the last 7 days Origami Bank has folded.

Sumo Bank has gone belly up.

Bonsai Bank announced plans to cut some of its branches.

Yesterday, it was announced that Karaoke Bank is up for sale and will likely go for a song...

While today shares in Kamikaze Bank were suspended after they nose-dived.

Samurai Bank is soldiering on following sharp cutbacks.

Ninja Bank is reported to have taken a hit, but they remain in the black.

Furthermore, 500 staff at Karate Bank got the chop and analysts report that there is something fishy going on at Sushi Bank where it is feared that staff may get a raw deal!

Enjoy! :)

"He that hath a trade hath an estate and he that hath a calling hath an office of profit and honour. But then the trade must be worked at, and the calling well followed, or neither the estate nor the office will enable us to pay our taxes. If we are industrious we shall never starve; for as Poor Richard says, at the working man’s house hunger looks in, but dares not enter"

Weekly Success Tip

Leaving a legacy

Anyone that's been to one of my Think and Grow Rich Events will know there are several larger and more important goals for me to achieve rather than to just amass money.

In fact, when it comes down to it, I think money has only two uses anyway.

1. To provide comfort and

2. To provide service

And the more money you have the more comfort you can enjoy and the more service you can render. It's the second one of these I want to talk with you about today.

Just the other week we had the passing of one of the world's great people, Mr. Paul Newman. I think somewhat sadly the media focused a little too much on his famous acting career, and car racing career and too little on his enormous charity work.

You see, some years ago, 1982 to be exact, Paul Newman and his friend A.E Hotchner founded Newman's Own (www.NewmansOwn.com) a food company that produces food ranging from pasta sauces to salad dressing to chocolate chip cookies.

It used to say on the website, 'It started out as a joke and got out of hand', and Newman, one time himself wryly noted, "The embarrassing thing is that the salad dressing is outgrossing my films,"

Today the website says, 'Shameless exploitation in pursuit of the common good' and what's truly inspiring about this company is that it was set up from the start to give 100% of its profits to charities such as Newman's Hole in the Wall camps, which he established to benefit gravely ill children.

To date, the company has given away more than $250 million and Newman said he saw the camps as places where kids could escape the fear, pain and isolation of their conditions, kick back and raise a little hell.

Now that's a pasta sauce worth paying for!

Paul Newman was one this world's real heroes and a role model for why you should consider making financial abundance one of your focuses.

Remember, an enlightened Millionaire is someone that comes from the mindset of abundance, adds massive value for people, is charitably philanthropic and leaves a legacy.

He inspires me to be a better person. Watch this gripping video below.

Action Step:

This week, give some thought to this question:

When your time here on spaceship Earth is over, what will you be best known for?
What you took, or what you gave?
Did you leave a legacy or live a little life?

A great friend of mine, Brendan Nichols, has just released a fantastic new book that I would highly recommend to you... Brendan is a living, breathing example of "life-balance" and this book shows you can you can increase your income and actually decrease the amount of hours you work.

It's called "How to be Rich Working 2 days a Week" and when you buy the book you get $842 worth of really fantastic gifts. The book itself shows you how to increase your income and take a lot more holidays.

Sound too good to be true?

Brendan Nichols takes an average of 3 month-long holidays a year, including skiing in Colorado and exploring tropical islands. He has run several businesses that provide large six figure incomes, yet only take 3 days a month of his time to run. The book will show you how to make more money but actually cut down on the amount of time you work.

Discover how to have more time with loved ones and really live that dream lifestyle now, not in some distant date in the future. Check out this new book "How to be rich Working 2 days a Week" in any good bookstore...
