The past few Success Tips we have been discussing No Money Down Deals. I even stated it was possible to make money in any of the four wealth streams with no money down. This week we start to touch on how to do it on the internet.

By far, the most popular question business owners and internet marketers ask when it comes to the internet is; "How do I get more free traffic?"

Because as you'll soon find out on the internet, no traffic equals no money.

One of the most explosive areas on the internet and what's led to this term Web 2.0, is what’s called Social Media. This term encompasses many such things as blogging, social networking, social bookmarking and, in general, community building and interactivity. Like it or not, it's exploding and it’s growth is accelerating!

Think about the idea of Social Networking for a minute. For me living here in Bathurst to network at a breakfast function in Sydney, I need to get up at about 3.30am and drive three hours through the dark and mountains to get to Sydney by 7am. I lose sleep, money and time getting there... in fact, it's just too difficult.

What if I could do all that, with a just a few clicks of a button on my computer, in the warmth and comfort of my own home in my boxer shorts? Well, the benefits are obvious and so the fundamentals driving the explosion of this media make sense, and millions and millions of people joining all agree.

One of the most popular and beneficial Social Networking sites to be involved with is of course; www.FaceBook.com

Facebook was started in 2004 by a 19 year old Harvard computer programmer named Mark Zuckerberg. It was designed for students on U.S. College campuses to interact and meet fellow students but quickly took off well beyond that. Today over 150,000 new members are joining every day, to interact with friends and family but also to fulfill their needs.

As an entrepreneur or business owner we enjoy the social side of these sites, but are also interested in how to use this ultimately to increase our business and put money in our bank accounts.

And here’s the biggest tip I have been given about using Social Networking sites:

• 99% of business owners and entrepreneurs are using it wrong! It is not to blatantly and overtly advertise your products and services hoping someone will buy.

It is best used to build your relationships with your customers, provide them greater access to your business, let more people find you, publish information and articles, build your brand and syndicate your content.

Then by default, providing value and having a social presence online, people will find you and seek out what you have.

Of course there's a million ways to encourage this and it's evolving all the time. So in future weeks, we'll start to look at some strategies around this.
